Bill Dructor promoted to Application Engineer.
SIMONA AMERICA Industries is pleased to announce the promotion of Bill Dructor to the role of Application Engineer. He started with the company back in November of 2022 as a Quality Control Lab Tech before accepting this new position.
Prior to joining SIMONA America Industries, Bill worked for Benco Dental where he started as an Online Product Data Specialist and then moved into the role of Quality Assurance Specialist, where he developed a strong background in leading QA testing for various software and technologies.
“Bill is very talented and he enjoys digging into new challenges. We are glad to give him the opportunity to share this enthusiasm with our customers,” said Guy Boyer, R&D Manager.
In his new role, Bill is responsible for working with quality control teams and production to improve material quality and troubleshoot product challenges. He also provides technical support pre-sale and post-sale to help customers match the best products to the desired application. Additional responsibilities will include managing technical applications to better educate end users, sales, and marketing to improve product knowledge overall.
“I am excited to move into this new role which utilizes not only my technical expertise, but also my passion for continuous improvement to support customers with innovative solutions using our extensive product offerings and training support,” added Dructor.
